Dr. Joshua P. Prager has served under oath as an expert witness on issues regarding medicine, pain management, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Neuromodulation (Spinal Cord Stimulators and Intrathecal Pumps), Electrical Injury, Spinal cord injury, product defects, Elder Abuse, and other Personal Injuries. He is available to consult and testify regarding a variety of medical issues and examines the material facts of each case including medical records and performing independent medical exams (IMEs).

As a medical expert witness, Dr. Prager prepares written statements, creates visual aids to explain his expert opinion, and provides expert testimony before the court using scientific studies, research, and personal medical working experience and expertise.

Dr. Prager holds four Board Certifications including two in Pain Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Pain Medicine. Three of his Board Certifications are through the American Board of Medical Specialties and the fourth is through the American Board of Pain Medicine.

In addition to his medical training, he attended Stanford Graduate School of Business and received a Master’s Degree in Management/ Health Services Research. This provides a sophisticated understanding of the business of medicine with specific expertise in physician and facility billing.

He testifies at depositions, in court and at mediation and arbitration.

His experience as a medical expert witness includes cases of:

Dr. Gabriel Barnard has served as an expert in both pain management and physical medicine & rehabilitation (aka Physiatry) with an emphasis on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, chronic pain, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and future care needs of patients. As a medical expert, he analyzes available records and creates written reports; developing comprehensive treatment plans for patients. As part of his medical practice, he provides the entire spectrum of care specializing in ketamine infusion therapy, spinal cord stimulation, and a unique four-week outpatient interdisciplinary pain functional restoration program. Complementary to his expert medical opinions, Dr. Barnard is a Certified Health Professional Life Care Planner, certified through the Universal Life Care Planner Certification Board (ULCPCB). He helped develop the current certification exam administered through the ULCPCB.
